S-Tech were recently contracted by Aurizon (QR Rail) to design an LED replacement for their failing railway signals. The requirement was not the standard Rail LED Points indicators, but required a directional arrow signalling where the track was switched too. S-Tech’s Engineers utilized our two aspect LED Points indicator cabinet and designed a new circuit board to allow for the left and right arrows to be shown in place of the normal red and green signals. A total of 27pcs were manufactured for the MacKay site and the client was extremely happy with the overall result.
